Description
Albert Weiss founded his own costume jewellery company in 1942 and it closed in the early 70’s. He was best known for his use of ‘Smokey Rhinestones’ and always used high quality Austrian crystals to give the best sparkle. This piece is signed in the style of the early 1940’s (his signature changed over the years) and it has a smooth Rhodium plated back. This is a highly collectable piece of jewellery, as well as being a real pleasure to wear. The overall length of the bracelet is 7 inches (18 cms), with three rows of claw set crystals and an ‘eye’ shaped crystal set intermitantly through the middle row. It is the most elegant piece of jewellery and a genuine little piece of history (Wonder who has worn it before?). The slide and lock catch is very strong and there is a safety chain attached.
There is definitely only one of these, so if you love it, buy it quickly!
