Late Victorian or Edwardian German Silver and marcasite love token pendant brooch.

Description

This is a truly historic piece of jewellery. Most likely Victorian, but could be early Edwardian. The design is delicate and very beautiful, with a simple bow made out of silver, then a pendant style silver dropper with a circular setting and a silver heart in the middle, again, with marcasite stones. It would make a delightful gift for a loved one and would look stunning on a dark jacket, suit or coat, or even worn to secure a scarf in place. Stamped Silver and Germany it is a delicate, pretty piece of jewellery. The photographs don’t really capture the sparkle!
