To find good marcasite necklace is difficult these days as so many of them were damaged and stones were missing. I will only sell perfect marcasite on my website, so for the few necklaces I have left, you will be getting rare items! This is a delightful example of a fifties style, with a bow motif in the centre and two smaller ones either side, then delicate little ‘wave’ shapes going round the neck to the catch. This is a great find as it is by the maker Sphinx, very collectable costume jewellery and the piece is signed and individually numbered, so even more rare. absolutely ideal for weddings or even a lovely gift, the is a special piece of rare jewellery. The length of the piece is 15.5 inches (40 cms) but is suitable for an extender chain.
