Large Purple ‘marble’ teardrop stone in silver ring.

Description

This is a most unusual stone and they were only discovered in 1978 in a mine in Siberia and are not known to exist anywhere else. It’s scientific name if Charoite, but it is also known as Purple marble. The color and patterns are quite unique in every piece, with swirling shapes of lavender and violet. This is a large stone in the teardrop shape and set in silver with a broad silver band, which sets off the lovely purple colours beautifully. This is a medium size ring (UK – ‘N’, US – 7) and is a real stunner!
